Since 1997, Road Systems Inc. (RSI) has offered the highest-quality roadside safety products and training solutions to the industry. The product technology developed by RSI has stood the test of time since entering the market 26 years ago — as it continues to pass all the changing testing criteria over the years. And the in-service performance is proving they are working on the roads as well as they did on the test track.
Since 2016, Road Systems, Inc has introduced three MASH-compliant terminals (MSKT, MFLEAT, and MBEAT) that maintain the same proven life-saving technology used in their NCHRP 350 predecessors.
The MSKT was the first MASH Test Level-3 and Test Level 2-compliant terminal to be introduced by RSI. The MSKT was built upon the success of RSI’s signature SKT technology, which is the NCHRP 350-compliant system that has continued to prove itself worldwide since 1997.
The MFLEAT is RSI’s MASH 2016 Test Level 3-compliant flared terminal and is the only one of its kind on the market. The MFLEAT introduced some new features including an innovative anchorage and bearing plate design. Some MFLEAT parts are even interchangeable with RSI’s MSKT and MBEAT MASH terminals.
Extending its MASH 2016-compliant product line, RSI presented a roadside Box Beam terminal in 2020, known as the MBEAT. Enhancements that were incorporated into the W-Beam terminals were also incorporated into the MBEAT to pass the more severe MASH test conditions and to allow for easier installation. The MBEAT is the only MASH 2016-compliant Box Beam Terminal in the market today.
In addition to updating its product line, Road Systems, Inc. also found a way to enhance its training solutions by developing online training sources for all three of the MASH 2016-compliant terminals. Proper training for installation, inspection, and repairs is crucial to ensure successful product performance — and this training can be accessed by anyone and achieved from anywhere, 24/7/365 days a year.
Road Systems, Inc. proven product line and timeless technology combined with their comprehensive training courses, available online, have strived to save lives since 1997.
