Where RSI Began
Road Systems, Inc. (RSI) was founded in 1997 as a small family-owned business. To compete in the highway safety industry against larger, more established companies, RSI had to grow and adapt quickly. Over time, RSI became a leader in the field by partnering with established guardrail manufacturers and together, through hard work and perseverance, established a leading national brand.
Strength in Numbers
Road Systems Inc. was established 26 years ago with a mission to save lives on the highway. To achieve this goal, RSI forged partnerships with three guardrail manufacturing companies: Gregory Highway, R.G. Steel Corp., and Universal Industrial Sales. These partners shared several key attributes, including their reliability, excellent reputations, and the fact that they are all family-owned businesses.
These partnerships proved to be invaluable, as they enabled RSI's very first product, the NCHRP 350 Sequential Kinking Terminal (SKT), to come to fruition. Over the years, RSI has developed numerous other NCHRP 350 and MASH-compliant products. The partners and Road Systems recognized the importance of creating products that would help make roads safer for everyone. By working together, they were able to combine their distribution capabilities, expertise, and resources, resulting in products that not only meet but exceed industry standards.
The Outcome
Road Systems, Inc. has proven itself a prominent leader in the roadside safety industry. With a strong presence in Texas, along with its partners in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Utah, RSI has been able to effectively distribute its products throughout the country to all 50 States. Over the years, Road Systems, Inc. has continued to evolve and improve its offerings, staying on the cutting edge of technology and innovation — ensuring customers can depend on the combination of their products, services, and solutions. RSI's commitment to customer satisfaction doesn't end there. When clients work with RSI and its partners, they experience the RSI Advantage, a combination of benefits that includes ease of installation, interchangeability, 24/7/365 interactive online training, and unparalleled customer service. In its relatively short history, RSI has made a significant impact on roadside safety, with the focus on performance making all the difference.
