Dan Thiele has a broad background in geotechnical, material, environmental, and structural engineering with over 35 years of experience. He has extensive experience in geotechnical and material engineering projects in the Midwest and provides design services for earth retention systems across North America. He is a licensed professional engineer in 21 states. Dan is the founder of Thiele Geotech, a specialty engineering firm practicing in the fields of geotechnical, material, and environmental engineering with over 60 employees. He serves on the Nebraska Board of Engineers and Architects, and also several civic and professional boards, including UNL Civil Engineering Advisory Board, and Nebraska Society of Professional Engineers Education Foundation.
