New year, new us. Welcome to Infrastructure Insider Interviews, the series where senior managing editor of Roads & Bridges, Gavin Jenkins, sits down and talks infrastructure with experts in the industry.
The first episode in this ongoing series is Steve Friess. Steve Friess is the vice president of concrete operations at Milestone Contractors. And he was recently named chairman of the board for the American Concrete Pavement Association. Friess has 35 years of experience in the industry, and he has been instrumental in developing Heritage Construction and Materials expertise in concrete at Milestone Contractors. He lives in Indiana with his wife, and together they have seven children and 10 grandchildren.
